NEXT STEPS @ AVC

God has a wonderful purpose for your life, and at Airdrie Victory Church, the Next Steps class is designed to help you connect with this purpose, in the local body here at AVC. In Next Steps, you will spend time diving into who we are; the heart, vision, culture, and history. We will also talk about the importance of community, and how you can connect beyond a Sunday morning. Lastly, we will talk about the importance of each part of the body of Christ; the importance of being a servant within the body and using our time, talents & finances God’s way.

At Next Steps, you will have the opportunity to have pizza with the Pastors as well as the Eldership & Leadership teams at Airdrie Victory Church. There will also be childcare available. You will hear from Pastors Nick & Charity all about the history of AVC, our vision, values and culture and then have the opportunity to ask any questions you would like!

WHO WE ARE

This section starts by telling the Airdrie Victory Church and Victory Churches International stories. We explore our mission, vision, and core values, as well as what God’s design is for the local church.

CONNECT

This section reveals God’s heart that no one should do life alone. We were designed for connection – firstly with Jesus (as head of His church), and fellow believers (as the body of His church). This section explores how you can do that at Airdrie Victory Church and provides you with the opportunity to get connected to the life of the church beyond a Sunday morning.

SERVE

This section talks about how God has designed His church for us to all be contributors, not consumers. God has given each one of us gifts, talents, passions and callings. These are not meant just for us, but for the building up and edifying of the body of Christ! We will give you the opportunity to discover the ministries that run regularly at AVC, and the opportunity to join our Serve Team as we do everything we can so that everyone can come to faith in Jesus.

We believe that as committed members to a local church body, we give of our time, we give of our talents, and we give our treasure. In this section, we talk about what generosity means.
